A mid 19th-century lithograph by Peter Johann Nepomuk Geiger. It is plate no. 8 in the series of 96 images portraying memorable historic world events. The current illustration depicts year 1268. Original caption reads: "Charles of Anjou orders the two princes, Conradin of Suabia and Frederick of Baden, to be sentenced to death, and beheaded in the principal Place of Naples."
